Lefors, TX Supercell – April 16th, 2017
A supercell slowly took form across the eastern TX panhandle near the town of Lefors, TX. Eventually, it became strong enough to produce numerous reports of hail of 2″ in diameter.
For me, the main story was finding myself on some uncharted roads south of the storm. Fortunately, it was a very slow moving storm! I took some video of my offroading experience.
