May 7th, 2016 – Colorado Storm Chase

Trying something new today, where I am posting about the setup, and posting a link to my LIVE video before the chase… I will then update this later with pictures, videos, etc, and make it all one page for the whole event, rather than a separate log!

Target:

Heading toward Akron, CO to Fort Morgan, CO. A low pressure system is deepening and moisture is pooling around a frontal boundary, where enhanced low level shear will exist for potential tornadoes later today! At the least, supercells appear very likely with large hail and damaging winds!
