Lightning Storm in Nebraska (4/14/17)

I decided to chase Nebraska in the vicinity of a low pressure system and “triple point” in south Central Nebraska.  Unfortunately, a supercell in Texas decided to produce numerous photogenic and strong tornadoes which nobody expected, but some were able to witness.

While I missed out on that, I was able to at least get a supercell to form near dark! It was a lightning strike machine.

Today’s chase (4/15/17) takes me toward the OK/TX Panhandles. Let’s see what we can find!
